Hello! I'm back! And with only one day to Crazy Editing Week ! I will be participating in this event and hope to see you there! Now without further a due, I give to you todays post!
Today I will be doing things a bit differently, instead of posting a story, or book review, poetry, or tips, I will be talking a bit about my Novella! So, it is not published yet, and it is currently undergoing many rounds of editing before actually sending it off to a publisher. But despite all this, I would like to share with you the story behind the story!
This is a story about a sixteen-year-old girl who grew up with wolves. She was raised by them in Americas very own Yellow Stone National Park. Until one day she is taken from her home and taken back to live with humans. Soon she adapts to normal life, until...
Nope, not going to spoil the rest 😆But for this little bit of the blurb shared, I will share a bit about why I wrote this story.
I was inspired by my own life, because when I was younger, we had a Husky, Husky crossed with a Wolf, and a Grey Wolf, as pets. Wolves were often miss-understood, seen as the villain or Antagonist of the stories. But haven't you heard all those stories about children growing up with wolves? Or how wolves are the closest relative to your domesticated dog?
So, I decided to write a story, about a girl, and her wolf family. To help people see wolves through a different perspective, not as the Antagonists, but the heroes. In this story I also included some Christian themes, making this an inspirational, faith based, story.
Now this specific story isn't based off of a real girl, and this is a completely fictitious book. But it doesn't have to be real, to make a difference.
So, I hope that when this story is sent and accepted by a publisher, that you will all give it a read. 😉
Also, I am currently read a great book, Renegades by Marissa Meyer. It is the first of two books in the series, and next week I will be reviewing this book.
Now my post comes to a close, I hope to see you all back here on Wednesday, for an exclusive post where you can get the inside scoop about Crazy Editing Week. Have a wonderful week!
